ABSTRACT: This paper outlines the configuration of a personal DSP Training Station around a TMS320C3x DSK Starting Kit and a personal computer running Windows(R) and fitted with a sound card. The substitution of expensive laboratory equipment, such as signal and noise generators, oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer makes this a cost-effective alternative for the setup of a learning station to explore the development of real-time DSP implementations.
